Populating Mayhem City 16 (The Professional - Wargames Foundry)

Just another quick little update with another survivor on the streets of Mayhem City.  He comes from Foundry's set labelled Professionals, and he looks like he is just that.

Dressed in an expensive suit, with a long trenchcoat, this killer for hire comes armed with a high powered assault rifle.   He definitely looks like he is better armed and/or prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse than the average civilian would be.

In actuality, as awesome as this figure is, I can't see myself using him often in an ATZ setting.   He just comes across as too confident, too well armed and too...professional.  As a hired gun in a modern conflict scenario, he would have much more use.

Sorry again for the lousy pictures.   Got a much better camera, but haven't figure out the settings.  I think alot of the crappyness has to do with poor lighting.  Anyway, I hope you liked this guy, who I did not name, but simpley refer to him as the Foundry pack name: The Professional.  All comments appreciated.

  1. Professionally done my friend, maybe as a former assassin/contract killer and in the wrong place at the wrong time.....

  2. That's a cool-looking mini. Lighting is always a problem for me, too. Do you have a lightbox? NoelVH had a nice tutorial on making one from a coffee can. http://theorky15mm.blogspot.com/search/label/photos

  3. Looking good Adam. I understand completley about taking pictures.

I'm sure he could be used. Off Duty SWAT, FBI agent, Bounty Hunter. Even as part of a professional criminal gang, Bodyguard perhaps

  4. Thanks for the comments guys.

Yes, Brummie, he could work as someone off duty, and professional ganger makes sense. He is too cool a figure to never be used, I guess I just don’t want him to be a throw away ganger. If ATZ calls for a high REP ganger with an assault rifle, this may be the guy.

No Lucky Joe, I don’t have a photobox yet. I don’t even have enough lamps at this point, but it is on my to do list. Thanks for the tutorial link, that brings me one step closer.

  5. Taking the photos is the bain of my life, a couple of bad pics can make an excellently painted figure look like my 4 year old painted it!! Nice figure by the way!!

  6. He is a nice figure and he certainly does look very professional.
When I'm photographing minis I use two angle-poise lamps with daylight bulbs fitted. They were a very sound investment. They weren't cheap but seeing as nearly all of my photography is gaming related I didn't mind the cost.

  7. Thats a great mini! I haven't yet come to minies photography myself, but those are some nice advices :)

You could always use this guy as war movies fan (thats where he thaught himself how to hold a rifle), who was (un)lucky enough to grab an assault rifle goverment forces left behind and is now copying his favorite hero - Chuck Norris :P
