Havensburgh

Just a little update from boredom.  After printing and mounting many, many World Works Games road tiles on cardstock, I was curious to see what sort of  setup I could have.   So I put together a little 4 foot x 4 foot city, and decided to name it: Havensburgh.  I started with many variations of Heaven/New Heaven/Heavensburgh/New Haven and ended on Havensburgh.  I like it, and sounds like it could be a real town anywhere.

Anyway, I took a few teaser pics of my city set up.   You'll get a good view of a couple of my virtually complete Sarissa buildings.  Also, a few vehicles I have thrown together.  I am not in love with the WWG vehicles, or rather, my abiltiy to put them together nicely.  They never quite look that good close up, but at a distance, they will do.  The price is certainly right, as I want a fair amount of vehicles available on my streets.

This is in the days prior to the zombie breakout, and the SWAT team are dealing with some gang members in the street.  Both sides of the shoot out have taken cover behind vehicles in front of the Pizzeria.

The Special Forces sniper takes aim at the husky ganger leader, hidden behind the van.
Hope you enjoyed this quick update, comments are appreciated.

  3. Nice! I'm actually contemplating getting some of those buildings for myself, not sure about stocking them on my website, it's a possibility, but I think they are awesome!

    1. I'd see no harm in stocking the buildings, or grabbing them for yourself.

  5. I love the WWG Streets of Legend set and I love to see what other folk do with them. You have a very nice set up there. Even your vehicles look good. The beauty of the WWG vehicles is that you can make loads of them very cheaply. Keep up the good work, Adam!

    1. Thanks Bryan. I need to print out some more roads, as I randomly printed tiles at first, and wound up not having the proper turns needed. Still was able to pull a city together though.

  8. Great looking table. Nice vignette of the shoot-out with the SWAT and gangers. I especially like the sniper on the rooftop shot. Death from above.

  9. They look great Adam. I tried building a bench the other day out of coffee stirrers and that was fiddly enough I imagine these vehicles are the same. They look great though mate. You made great progress whens your first game planned then!
